In a production deployment with SAFR SCAN, its important to review performane and ensure users are gaining access easily. This article explains how to investigate cases where users are struggling to gain access and correct possible issues.
Search for Access Denied
You can filter in the Events Window on Id Class (Known or Stranger) and on Event Type (Access denied or Access granted) as shown below. Id Class of Known is “No-Concern”, Concern, or Threat Concern or Threat only occur if person record is updated as such.
SAFR recommends that operators watch these filters occasionally to see if users are having issues as follows:
- Id Class=No-Concern and Event Type=Access denied show you who might be struggling to get access and may need improved photos or facing other issues such as access rules
- Id Class=Stranger and Event Type=Access denied show you if there are missing face images or faces images are really out of date
You can use the Export button from “…” menu in upper right to export to Excel. You can export all events or just filter to the ones you want in the report.
