If your card format is not already defined in SAFR, you can create one with the SAFR Custom Card Format Editor as described below.


You can find the card format editor as follows:

  1. Open SAFR Desktop
  2. Open Video Feeds window from Tools menu
  3. Click “…” menu for your reader and select “Edit Operation Settings”
  4. Go to Card Format page
  5. Click the dropdown and select “Custom”.
  6. You will see the following dialog which has built-in instructions for card format creation

 


The “E” or “O” in the parities list below must align with the corresponding parity.  The parities are computed in the indicated order (only important if you have overlapping parities).
