You can disable storing of images in events by using Advanced Processor Settings on SAFR SCAN in the video feeds window. You will need the SAFR Desktop installed to perform these edits.
To disable images for events, do the following.
Connect SAFR SCAN to SAFR Server if you have not already.
1. Open SAFR Desktop
2 Open Video Feeds window
3. Chose the "..." menu for the SAFR SCAN device and pick "Advanced Feed Configuration"
4. Click "Add" to add properties
5. Type 'reporter' in teh filter and chose the following properties:
6. Set those properties to False
7. Click Apply
Save this and images should no longer appear for events on SAFR Server as shown below:
And on device:
To disable images being sent to the device, do the following:
1. Open SAFR Desktop
2 Open Video Feeds window
3. Chose the "..." menu for the SAFR SCAN device at the Processor Level" and pick "Advanced Processor System Settings"
4. Uncheck "Persist synced person record face images"
Images with each person record will no longer be stored on the scan device.
There are some other advanced settings you can set via the SAFR Desktop Video Feeds window but some of these settings are controlled by SAFR SAN Operation Settings and cannot be overridden by the Advanced Processor Configuration. You can test this and confirm if the settings you need take effect or If you can clarify which settings you want to change we can investigate for you.
