SAFR Server attempts to contact the Licensing Server every 2 hours. By default, if SAFR Server is unable to successfully contact the Licensing Server, it immediately stops working until it's able to establish a connection with the Licensing Server. However, you can ask RealNetworks to update the "Max interval between reports" value attached to your license so that one or more contact attempts may be unsuccessful before SAFR stops working.
