Great! Its go time :)
There are a few ways to use SAFR. Its going to differ if you have a SAFR Cloud license or an on-premise license.
When getting started with a SAFR Cloud license:
- Log into the SAFR Download Portal, download the SAFR Desktop, and install it.
- See the SAFR documentation for details on using the Desktop Client.
- To use the Web Console, log into http://safr.real.com/console.
- If you have IP cameras, you can connect them to the Desktop Client or the Web Console. See the Connect Cameras to SAFR topic in the SAFR documentation for details.
When getting started with an on-premise license:
- Log into the SAFR Download Portal, download the SAFR Platform, and install it. This installs the SAFR Server, the Desktop Client, the Actions Relay Event Service (ARES), and the Web Console, on your local machine.
- See the SAFR documentation for details on using the Desktop Client and the SAFR Server.
- To use the Web Console, do any of the following:
- Double click on the SAFR Admin Console icon on the desktop of the machine running your SAFR Server.
- Open http://localhost:8090/ in a web browser on the machine running your SAFR Server.
- Open http://<ip address of your server>:8090 in a web browser on a machine not running your SAFR Server.
