This article explains how to create a Windows Event log for submission to SAFR Support when requested.
1. Open Windows Event Viewer
2. Select Application under Event Viewer > Windows Logs
3. Select Filter Current Log on the right panel. You will see the following dialog:
4. Enter the filter criterial requested by SAFR Support.
To find issues, you can use the Critical, Warning and Error filters as shown:
Do not submit log with these filers as this may omit useful information.
For submitting tickets, only submit a limited time range as requested. Typically 1 hour. If the issue is ongoing, then select "Last hour". If the issue occurred at a specific time, then select "Custom Range" and change the option to "Events On" and set the start and end time as shown below.
5. Save the filtered event log as shown and submit to SAFR as requested for investigation.
