SAFR computes the gender of subjects from facial characteristics and can provide this information on an individual basis or in aggregate. 

SAFR can be configured to report estimated gender through the Recognition Preferences menu in the SAFR Desktop Client.  The estimated gender is added to learned identities as well as recognition and detection events. Gender can also be manually added to people enrolled in the SAFR Identity Database.
