Whenever you install or upgrade SAFR on a Windows or Linux machine, we strongly recommend that you update your NVidia driver to the most recent by doing the following:
- Go to the NVidia Driver Downloads page.
- Pick the Product Type that matches your card family. Most people will have either GeForce (GTX 1xxx or 2xxx), Quadro (RTX or Pxxxx), or Tesla card types.
- Select the Product Series and Product that are applicable for your card, as well as your computer's operating system.
- The next step depends on which Product Typeyou selected:
- For GeForce cards: Select *Studio Driver (SD)* for the Download Type field.
- For Quadro cards: Select *Production Branch/Studio* for the Download Type field.
- For Tesla cards: Select the latest CUDA Toolkit.
- Select the Language for your driver.
- Click the Search button.
- Download and install the offered NVidia driver.
