Yes.  Most IP cameras support at least 2 outbound RTSP streams. Some allow more.

You process the same camera from two or more than one SAFR Desktop or VIRGO feed at the same time though this is uncommon since you can do multiple analytics with the same feed.  But you may want to do this for purposes of load testing.  You can also use multicast to accomplish this if your camera supports it.

More commonly needed is the ability to connect SAFR to a camera that is already in use by another application such as VMS.  Again, most cameras support multiple outbound video feeds.  In many cases, you can specify different settings for each feed, thus allowing high quality camera stream for analytics processing in SAFR and lower bitrate feed for archival and viewing in VMS.
