Processors in Video Feeds not shown

If muliplte Servers in a cluster or multiple video gateway (Virgo) instances are installed but only one appears in Video Feeds window, this may be due to duplicate processor id.  This occurs when machine hardware between gateway instances is identical.


The process below will provide each gateway (Virgo) instance with a unique Id to resolve this issue:


  1. Quit SAFR (All windows)

  2. Stop the SAFR Services (C:\Program Files\RealNetworks\SAFR\bin\stop.bat)

  3. Open Notepad and open following file: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Virgo\SAFRVirgo.exe_< >\1.0.0.0\user.config

  4. Edit tag inside ... to some new value for Client-ID

  5. Start the SAFR Services again (C:\Program Files\RealNetworks\SAFR\bin\start.bat)

Note: The Processor (machine) with old Client ID will be orphaned and a new new one is created with the ID you provide above. You should delete the old processor (Machine) (Video Feeds -> Three dots next to old processor name (will be in red) -> Delete Processir
