How to interpret "Detection direction" in Tailgating

"Detection direction" setting in Tailgating has 2 options: "Inbound on entry only" and "Inbound on entry and exit". This article explains the reader's behavior in each options.


Inbound on entry only

SAFR SCAN sends tailgating event when it detects unauthorized person coming in after person with clearance.


Inbound on entry and exit

 

SAFR SCAN sends tailgating event:

  • When it detects unauthorized person comming in after a person with clearance
  • When it detects unauthorized person comming in after a person exit from the door
