How to apply a SAFR COVI WAR file patch

Below are instructions on installing the SAFR patch. 

 

  1. Copy the following file to the patch file provided to the SAFR Computer.  The file should have a .war file extension.
  2. Stop the “SAFR Covi” Windows Service (During this time readers will still continue to function)
  3. Rename the existing covi-ws.war file in C:\Program Files\RealNetworks\SAFR\covi\webapps
  4. Delete the folder ‘covi-ws’ in same directory
  5. Copy the downloaded file into C:\Program Files\RealNetworks\SAFR\covi\webapps and rename to ‘covi-ws.war’
  6. Start the “SAFR Covi” Windows Service
  7. Run Reconfigure Sync from Tools > System Configuration
