How do I reset SAFR Server or Cloud Password?

This article explains how to reset the password for your SAFR On-Premises Server or SAFR Cloud account.  If you are looking for how to reset the SAFR SCAN device password, please refer to What do I do if I lost my password to SAFR SCAN?


SAFR Cloud

To change password on a SAFR Account

  1. Go to http://safr.real.com/signin
  2. Click ""Forgot your Account ID/Password?"".

This will update your password.


SAFR Server

If SAFR Server is online, use the following steps to reset password:

  1. Go to http://safr.real.com/signin
  2. Click ""Forgot your Account ID/Password?""
  3. Restart to SAFR Server or Wait 2 hours for change to update from SAFR Cloud


If you don't have your SAFR Account ID, you can find this in two ways:

  1. Open SAFR Desktop.  Go to Tools > Preferences and view ""Account"" tab.
  2.  Use the recover account id option on the Forgot Password page described above.


Offline On-Premises Server Password Reset
