Can biometric signatures be used to identify a person or used to calculate and trace back to individual people?

No. Biometric signatures alone cannot be converted back into the original image. They're only used by the SAFR system to identify if a face found in a new image is similar to a stored signature.

However, SAFR does support storing names, external IDs, and actual images for each enrolled person. If used, any of this optional information could be used to trace back to an individual person.
